Pan African Choir


the pan african choir formed in 2003 and learns songs and traditional drumming from across the african continent


the group has worked with many of melbourne's african musicians, including kojo sam, adzohu, valanga khosa, david marama, king marong, jali buba kuyateh and the african royal drummers


the pan african choir is a community choir run by directors jen skate & chris lesser  

 

the group performs at events such as melbourne international festival, tanzanian association, the boite winter festival, and local festivals.


in 2008 and 2010 members from the choir travelled to west africa on a choir study tour - this was not our bus, just one of our favourite photos!

Thanks to all our supporters for coming to our recent show June 6 - your contributions raised almost $2000. 
With AusAID adding $5 to each dollar we made, International Needs can send over $8000 to the Adidome vocational training project in Ghana. 
Bon Voyage Linda, Resh and Emily, our choir members who are spending 2 weeks volunteering at Adidome. 
International Needs, Adidome Project,helps liberate Ghanaian women from a life of slavery.
